Buttery, rich and sweet this brie is wrapped in puff pastry and topped with fig jam.
Follow the defrost directions for your puff pastry. Gently roll the pastry out so that it will completely cover the brie, trimming off any extra. Place the fig jam on top of the brie and lay fig jam side down in the middle of the puff pastry. Fold up the sides and turn seam-side down.
Use the extra puff pastry to decorate your brie!
Pre -heat your oven to 400. Create an egg wash by beating a while egg with a drop of water. Brush the egg wash over the brie, this will give it a golden color once baked. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Let the brie sit for at least 10 minutes before serving. If it is too hot the cheese will run out once cut. It is normally served at room temperature so waiting a bit is perfectly okay.
