Oven Baked Ribs

This is the simplest oven baked ribs recipe! Simply baking at 300 F for 3 hours makes the ribs turn out tender, juicy and mouthwatering. I am team BBQ sauce, but these are amazing with just the dry rub and baked.

When it comes to baby back vs St. Louis style ribs I prefer St. Louis. Cooked right they are a better value, meatier and have more fat making them juicier.

These ribs are also wonderful smoked or thrown on the grill.

The perfect oven baked ribs that are juicy and fall off the bone.

Ingredients
  • 1 Rack St. Louis style ribs
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp White pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (Optional)
Instructions
  1. Season the Ribs

You can either remove the silverskin on the back of the ribs or make slashes running down the ribs. Either way works perfectly!

Combine dry seasoning and thoroughly rub into ribs.

  2. Bake the ribs

Bake for 3 hours in a 300 degree oven. If you would are going to add a BBQ glaze, start glazing every 15 minutes during the last hour. The ribs are done with they are fork tender.
